Learn cutting skills that can be applied immediately or propel you for a successful career as a Barber/Cosmetologist

Learn online while cutting actual hair
The online course features professional hair cutting techniques that are used on popular haircuts of today. Practice cutting each haircut on individual manikins provided in the lab kit. Submit photos of your completed work for instructor review. Watch detailed demonstrations. Interact with each lesson as you practice and follow along on individual manikins. Review each lesson as much as needed as you learn at your own pace. Communicate with live expert instructors through web conferences and email.

Earn high school credit
Earn one semester credit equal to .5 credits toward high school graduation. Intro to Cosmetology/Barbering can also be applied toward a CTE credit.  Home school and credit recovery options are available.

Learn how to cut with shears
This course is primarily a course involving the use of shears. Each of these sessions will teach you fundamental techniques that are used with both long and short hair. These techniques are also used with clipper cutting.
